A transfer degree program enables you to complete the first two years of study for a bachelor's degree program, then transfer to a four-year college or university. Specialty Programs

Joint Program with Belanger School of Nursing

Students interested in transfer to Belanger School of Nursing can take their non-nursing courses scheduled around the nursing curriculum at SUNY Schenectady County Community College. Courses chosen must be comparable in content and credit to the required college courses in the curriculum. Persons interested in enrolling in the School of Nursing may complete any of the college courses before enrollment and receive advanced curriculum credit if the criteria for advanced credit are met. All course requirements for the first year must have satisfactory completion before progression to the second year.

SUNY Delhi

Through a unique partnership with SUNY Schenectady, SUNY Delhi has developed inter-institutional programs designed to attract students interested in pursuing a baccalaureate degree in the Capital District, especially students who have jobs, family, and other commitments that prevent them from enrolling in these programs on the campus in Delhi. The programs are designed to enable students to be matriculated directly through SUNY Delhi with courses taught by faculty from the main campus as well as by joint faculty members from both institutions. Additionally, alumni from corresponding SUNY Schenectady associate degree programs are afforded the opportunity to begin the program with full junior status. Learn more about the partnership.
