Mia Scirocco is a well-established and well-known singer in the Capital District area.
She has her B.S. in Studio Engineering (Music Technology) as well as her B.A. and
M.S. in Music Education, from the College of St. Rose in Albany, NY. Mia taught public
school for many years and has experience teaching all grade levels, K-12. Currently
she is an adjunct professor of music at both SUNY Schenectady and Hudson Valley Community
College.
A much sought after vocalist, Mia has recorded and performed live for many high profile
events. She has performed with and/or opened for Delfeayo Marsalis, Rufus Reid, The
Empire Jazz Orchestra, The Schenectady Symphony Orchestra, The Pointer Sisters, Collin
Raye, Melissa Etheridge, Porter Carroll.
Mia has been managing and performing with the Mia Scirocco Trio for 10 years. She
is admired for her ability to sing all styles of music from classical to jazz to soul
to pop. She has been composing and arranging music for 20+ years. You can download
