Computer Networking Systems and Cyber Security is a SUNY Reconnect eligible program. This program allows New York residents, age 25-55 without a college degree, to earn a free degree in a high-demand field. The mission of the Computer Networking Systems and Cyber Security A.A.S. degree program is to provide both a theoretical and hands-on foundation in computer networking, using industry-standard hardware and software. The Computer Networking Systems and Cyber Security curriculum is designed to provide a comprehensive education primarily for the student who anticipates employment as network and systems administrators.
Program Learning Outcomes
Students will:
- Configure and manage network infrastructure using industry-standard protocols and tools.
- Analyze and respond to cybersecurity threats using foundational security and forensic techniques.
- Design and implement operating system and workstation solutions to support enterprise environments.
