Procurement
SUNY Schenectady County Community College’s Office of Administration is responsible for the procurement of goods and services that make our college work. In accordance with our Purchasing Policy, SUNY Schenectady publishes legal notices of formal competitive bids in the Daily Gazette.
SUNY Schenectady has joined Empire State Purchasing Group (ESPG), an online procurement system that provides vendors with an easier and more economical way to access and compete for bids. The College posts online invitations to bid, requests for quotes, requests for proposals, addenda, and awards. The ESPG is comprised of governments and agencies around New York State. The group utilizes a centralized registration system that provides vendors with a single point of contact and broad access to new business opportunities throughout the region. There is no charge to register or obtain formal bid documents. ESPG offers an automatic email or fax notification option and the ability to view and submit online quotes for a small annual fee.
SUNY Schenectady also posts procurement opportunities on the New York State Contract Reporter.
