Carol has been working in the health information management field for 20+ years as a coder, coding manager, coding auditor, and instructor. She holds RHIT, CCS, and CDIP credentials through AHIMA and has served as a Board of Directors member of Adirondack Health Information Management Association for multiple terms. Carol holds a Bachelor of Science degree from SUNY Empire State College and is working towards her Master’s in Higher Education through Liberty University. Carol has published several articles through AHIMA and in the Journal of AHIMA. Carol is a lifelong Schenectady resident with her husband and children.
