Main Campus

SUNY Schenectady County Community College’s Main Campus is located at 78 Washington Avenue in Schenectady, NY, just off I890 between Exits 25 and 26 of the NYS Thruway, adjacent to the Mohawk River. The main campus consists of Elston Hall, which houses classrooms and administrative offices, the Welcome Center, the cafeteria, bookstore, Begley Learning Commons, which houses the library, an IT Helpdesk, Tutoring, the EOP Office, and the Joshua Schwartz Café, the Stockade Building which houses classrooms and lecture halls, Gateway Building, home of our Early Childhood Development Program, daycare center and Integrated Laboratory Preschool, the Carl B. Taylor Auditorium, the School of Music, and the Computer, Science and Technology Building which houses our chemistry, nanotechnology and other labs. Center City

SUNY Schenectady Center City in Downtown Schenectady is situated on the second floor of 433 State Street in Downtown Schenectady. It has 14 classrooms, a meeting room, vending machines, computers, wireless access throughout and comfortable student lounge areas. Aviation Program

SUNY Schenectady’s Aviation Program is housed at the Schenectady County Airport, 19 Airport Rd, Scotia, NY, a 15 minute drive from the main campus, in the Richmor Aviation Building. Kindl Building

In November of 2015, SUNY Schenectady officially opened the Kindl Building, located on at 201 State Street in Downtown Schenectady. The Kindl family generously donated the structure in 2009 to the College. The County, the State University of New York, and the Empire State Development contributed funds to help offset the $1.6 million cost to renovate the space, which now houses SUNY Schenectady's Workforce Development and Community Education center.
