Caroline Brown is Musicians of Ma’alwyck’s inaugural Executive Director. She is a passionate leader in arts and culture and is honored to bring Musicians of Ma’alwyck’s mission to audiences in the Capital Region and beyond.
 
Her involvement with the organization has evolved from grant writer to board member, and now to Executive Director. In her time on the board, she served as Vice Chair and led the Nominating Committee, Program Committee, Audience Development Committee, and was integral to the creation of the 2023–2026 Strategic Plan.  
 
She has held positions as the Assistant to the Directors/Membership & Programs Coordinator at the Bowdoin College Museum of Art, Executive Director of the Mid-Atlantic Association of Museums, and Director of Development at the Schenectady County Historical Society. She is a graduate of Barnard College in New York City, where she majored in Russian literature and French language. She completed her masters degree at the Cooperstown Graduate Program for Museum Studies with a concentration in nonprofit administration and fundraising.
