Visiting Students
Take a Class at SUNY Schenectady
SUNY Schenectady County Community College offers a wealth of options for those looking to pick up a class or two for professional development, and for students from other colleges who wish to take classes and transfer credits back to their home institution. In addition to the Fall and Spring semesters, summer and winter classes are available at the lowest tuition rates in the Capital Region. You will find friendly people and student support services to help you navigate registering and transferring credits (if necessary).
If you are a new non-matriculated student (visiting student) wishing to register for a class, please contact the Registrar's Office to complete and submit a registration form or call 518-381-1348. If the course for which you wish to register has a prerequisite which you meet but not with an SUNY Schenectady course, please be ready with proof of meeting the prerequisite course(s). New non-matriculated students may begin registering when General Registration begins.
If you have any questions or concerns please contact the Registrar's Office at 518-381-1348 or registrar@sunysccc.edu.
