College in the High School
Fall and Full Year CHS Registration is going on now.
College in the High school are college credit bearing courses that are taught at the participating high school, by high school teachers. The high school teachers who teach these courses, must be approved as instructors by SUNY Schenectady. College in the high school, dual enrollment courses allow for high school students to earn both college and high school courses at the same time.
CHS courses offered in a variety of subject areas including math, science, English, history, business, and more!
All students enrolled in a Dual Credit course at any of our partnering high schools should expect the same level of course rigor and student expectations as they would if they were taking they course on the SUNY Schenectady campus.
Check with your high school counselor for a complete list of available courses. Dual Credit academic courses are transferable to SUNY 4-year institutions and credit acceptance for private and out of state colleges will be at the discretion of the institution.
