EOP Academic Eligibility

At EOP we look beyond report cards and test scores to focus on your potential. If your GPA falls slightly below general admission requirements, you could be academically eligible for EOP.

You Could be Eligible If:

• Your high school grade point average (GPA) is between 1.7 and 3.0, OR
• Your high school grade is 70-80% or C- to B, OR 
• If you did not complete high school and earned a GED.

Additional Eligibility Notes

• High school students that participated in any college access or support program could be eligible.
  • For example: GEAR UP, Upward Bound, EOC, LPP, College in the High School or similar programs.
• Transfer students will only be considered for EOP if they were enrolled in EOP/HEOP, College Discovery, or SEEK at their previous college.
• All first-year students have to participate in the unforgettable in-person 3-5 week summer academy experience.
