Season Four of the College’s Many Voices, One Call podcast premiered recently with a new episode, Touch Grass, Make a Difference - Student Views on Civic Engagement. With a national election barely a month away, the podcast focuses on how students experience the current climate. What do they see in politics? How does it matter to their lives? Are they engaged? Do they think their peers are? Host Dr. Babette Faehmel, Professor in the Division of Liberal Arts, and guests had an “energized and highly insightful discussion about partisan polarization, misinformation, the role of social media in shaping our politics, and what we ourselves can do to be empowered civically literate participants in political debates.”
