What are your goals as a student leader?

First, to lead by example. I also want to continue to foster better communication among the students, staff, faculty, and administration. Keeping with the spirit of our Strategic Plan is also extremely important to me.

Why did you decide to attend SUNY Schenectady?

I was immediately impressed with the strong sense of community at SUNY Schenectady and wanted to be part of a campus that cared for their students that much.

What are your plans after you graduate?

I plan on continuing my education at the University at Albany where I hope to earn a bachelor’s degree and then master’s degree in Social Work.

And…what else should we know?

I am committed to improving student life on campus and helping each student succeed.

What are your goals as a student leader?

My goal this year is to help students get reacquainted with campus life, to assist them with resources they may need to for a better in-person college experience.

Why did you decide to attend SUNY Schenectady?

I chose to attend SUNY Schenectady because it is less than five minutes from my house which made it convenient for everyday traveling, and SUNY Schenectady has all the necessities I need for my first two years of college.

What are your plans after you graduate?

My goal after graduating from the College is to pursue my bachelor’s degree at a four-year university and to reenlist in the U.S. Marine Corps as an officer.

And…what else should we know?

I am currently serving in the U.S. Marine Corps while maintaining a spot on the President’s List every semester. I’m fully active in my church’s children ministry and youth group, and I love the outdoors especially flying, driving, and photography.

My goal is to connect the students in many activities and clubs and to be involved.

Why did you decide to attend SUNY Schenectady?

I decided to attend SUNY Schenectady because it’s the only college that offers a pilot program in the area. And it was one of the colleges on my lists from high school.

What are your plans after you graduate?

My goal is to continue my education and get my bachelor’s degree (Professional Pilot).

And…what else should we know?

I’m a full-time student, and I like to travel to explore and discover new places.

MarcMarc is also a member of the Drama Club, Pride Alliance, and Student Volunteer Organization. “I also actively recruit employees from the culinary school for various local food service establishments.”

What are your goals as a student leader this year?

To organize and effectively run at least two charitable fundraisers this year.

Why did you decide to attend SUNY Schenectady?

Mostly out of convenience. I was living in Albany during the pandemic and decided that now was the best time to go back to school to prepare for my future. I struck while the iron was hot!

What are your plans after you graduate?

Transferring to the best Business Administration program that I can get into for free – lol.

And…what else should we know?

I am love anime and “Forgetting Sarah Marshall.” I love to cook, and please feel free to talk to me anytime because I’m pretty happy and friendly!

What are your goals as a student leader this year?

Helping SGA to encourage unvaccinated students to get vaccinated against COVID to help ensure a successful school year.

Why did you decide to attend SUNY Schenectady?

SUNY Schenectady was my only choice because of the many positive recommendations from peers and teachers. The tuition cost is affordable and attending SUNY Schenectady allowed me the opportunity to obtain higher education in the community that I live in.

What are your plans after you graduate?

Apply to a Nursing program and continue my studies to further enhance my career in the field of healthcare.

And…what else should we know?

I enjoy reading, spending time with my loved ones, and hiking. Going back to college wasn’t an easy decision especially when you wear many hats; however, it is very rewarding. As long as you have a growth mindset, you're already heading down the right path. The tassel is always worth the hassle.
