Welcome Students!

A special greeting to students from Dr. Steady Moono, College President.

We want all of you to know that at SUNY Schenectady, we are your vision supporters. We want your college experience to be the best that it can be. Your professors, College staff, administrators, everyone – we are all here to help you succeed.

Whether you are taking your classes on our main campus, at Center City, in our Culinary Labs downtown, at the Schenectady Count Airport, or online, please take advantage of all that we offer. You can be linked with a mentor, a member of the College’s faculty and staff who can offer support, guidance, and assistance. Our Success Coaches can help you navigate college and reach your academic goals. You can also sign up for free tutoring, laptop loans, and academic supports in our new Learning Commons.

In addition to resources that will boost your academic success, we are dedicated to supporting your overall wellness through our Food Pantry, supportive counseling, stress reduction strategies, a meditation and prayer space, and referrals to off-campus resources. Also, you have access to a free, 24/7 emotional support app called Lifeworks, where you can text, call, or meet virtually with a licensed counselor.
