Congratulations Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society Inductees

Congratulations to the 96 students inducted into Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Honor Society during a special candlelight ceremony on Nov. 7. They have all achieved an impressive 3.65 or higher grade point average.

“I applaud the students who earned this esteemed recognition and join with their families, friends, professors, and other vision supporters in congratulating them on a job well done,” said Dr. Steady Moono, College President. “They all exhibit the four hallmarks of PTK: scholarship, leadership, service, and fellowship, and I am very proud of what they have achieved so far and look forward to celebrating their future success.”

Jasmatie Lutawan, Computer Science and Computer Repair & Networking major, was inducted into PTK in November 2023 and is President of the College’s chapter. “My sincere congratulations to our inductees on your hard-earned success,” she said “You have the creativity and determination to do whatever you dream of. Wishing you all the best!”

She was joined at the ceremony by the other PTK officers: Em Gordon, PTK Vice President, and Deviyani Singh, PTK Secretary.

The College thanked PTK Co-Advisors Dr. Hope Sasway, Dean, and Dr. Lorena Harris, both of the Division of Math, Science, Technology, and Health, and Michael Niccoli, Instructor in the School of Hotel, Culinary Arts and Tourism.
