Business, Criminal Justice and Law

Welcome to the Division of Business,
Criminal Justice and Law

Students often ask me how they can benefit from an associate’s degree in Business or Criminal Justice from Schenectady County Community College (SCCC). Many graduates of our programs have gone on to work at large area businesses such as General Electric and Saratoga Hospital, while others have continued their education at four-year institutions such as Siena College, SUNY Albany, Rochester Institute of Technology, and the John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York City.

I tell our students that they should dream big. While at SCCC, you can expect the very best attention and instruction from our faculty. You will have the opportunity to take on exciting internships, and possibly to be hired by those companies after you graduate. You can count on being admitted to highly reputable four-year colleges upon graduation.

We offer majors in Business Administration, Criminal Justice, and Paralegal Studies, as well as more specialized programs in Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Casino Management, Emergency Management, and Fire Protection Technology. Regional businesses, law firms, and police organizations offer our students internships and applied learning opportunities.

Your educational and professional goals are important to us. As you map your future, we hope you will aim high and allow our talented and caring faculty to help you achieve your dreams.

Expect the best from yourself, and us. We’ll help you get where you want to go.
