Students Complete Health Care Training Programs

SUNY Schenectady and its partner agencies celebrated students who completed high-demand healthcare training offered through the College’s Office of Workforce Development and Community Education during a special ceremony in the Taylor Auditorium on May 28. Congratulatory remarks were made by Dr. Steady Moono, College President, and Assemblyman Angelo Santabarbara. Venus Benoit and Sandra Holloway, students who completed the training, addressed the audience as well, reflecting on their experiences and sharing words of congratulations with their fellow graduates. 

Students have completed: Certified Nurse Aide, Home Health Aide, Personal Care Aide, EKG Technician, Phlebotomy Technician, Behavioral Health Technician, and Community Health Worker, and Medical Administrative Assistant.
