Welcome back to the last half of the Spring 2020 semester. We want to commend all of you on your patience and willingness to adapt to all of the challenges that have resulted from the COVID-19 pandemic. Many of you have contacted us with questions and comments and we have appreciated all of them. This semester may be different because we have moved to virtual online learning, but we are still here to support you and empower you to achieve your academic goals.
As we continue to evaluate COVID-19, we have made further changes to office coverage. All offices will continue to work remotely to assist you with all needs.
- Beginning on Thursday, April 2, the Student Business Office and Financial Aid Office will be working remotely except for on Wednesdays. Both offices will be open on Wednesdays from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. to assist any students who need face-to-face assistance.
- The Office of Student Affairs will continue to offer laptop computer loans through this week for any students still in need. The Student Affairs Office will be available from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. for laptop loans. If you are unable to come to campus until after 3 p.m., please contact firstname.lastname@example.org and we will make another arrangement for you to pick up a laptop.
- The Food Pantry is open on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, 11:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Social distancing measures will be in effect. Please bring your student ID with you.
As a reminder, summer and fall registration is open. Please schedule an appointment with your Academic Advisor
to plan your summer or fall schedule.
On a different note, the 2020 U.S. Census is happening now. Looking to participate in an activity that will assist New York recover from the COVID-19 pandemic? Complete your U.S. Census
. Being counted in New York means funding for school lunches, repairs of our highways, funding for public schools, and supports families in need. New York was significantly under counted during the last Census resulting in less money from federal programs. Help New York to be 100% counted by completing the 2020 Census now.
