The Community Partner Award recognizes an individual or organization that has shown significant commitment to partnering with other public and/or private entities to further the development of Schenectady County. The College was selected by a committee of past recipients.
Mark Eagan, President and CEO of the Capital Region Chamber, noted the College’s ongoing commitment to serving the community. “SUNY Schenectady exemplifies what it means to be a community partner,” Eagan said. “Our Chamber is honored to recognize their work and commitment. Their role in our community, through academics, partnerships, and apprenticeship programs works in unison with our Chamber as we collectively work to build a better community.”
The Chamber of Schenectady County is an affiliate of the Capital Region Chamber, which represents 2,400 businesses and organizations from throughout Albany, Schenectady, Rensselaer, Saratoga Counties and beyond – that employ more than 150,000 area residents.
