Featuring Matthew Ross: Yamaha Young Performing Artists Competition Winner; member Queen City Opera and Albany Symphony; performances with National Symphony and Cincinnati Symphony 

SUNY Schenectady School of Music invites flute players of all ability levels to a day with some of the area's finest professional players. Spend the day fully immersed in music making with other flute players as you attend masterclasses, play in a flute ensemble, and enjoy a performance by Matthew Ross, Norman Thibodeau, Jackie Wright, and Karen Hosmer.

Saturday, February 12
12:30 - 5:00 p.m.
SUNY Schenectady, School of Music Building

12:30 p.m. - Improving your performance with Feldenkrais presented by Norman Thibodeau
1:30 p.m. - Flute Recital with Matthew Ross, Norman Thibodeau, Jackie Wright, and Karen Hosmer (open to the public with social distance seating)
2:30 p.m. - Master Class with Matthew Ross (opportunity for students to perform)
4:00 p.m. - Flute Ensemble Play-In for all participants


Bonus for Participants

Participants may reserve tickets for themselves, friends and family at the group rate of $15 per ticket for the 7:30 p.m. Albany Symphony Orchestra (ASO) performance of Tchaikovsky Symphony #6, The Pathetique. ASO concert performed at the Palace Theatre, Albany, NY.
