Director, SUNY Schenectady Wind Ensemble, Chamber Winds. Music Director, Capital Region Wind Ensemble. Clarinet studies with Robert Listokin, Charles Neidich; saxophone with Arthur Bouton, Steven Mauk. Conducting studies with Peter Perret, F. Joseph Docksey, Vincent LaGuardia. Active composer and arranger. Conductor of the Capital Region Wind Ensemble. Member of the Empire Jazz Orchestra. Frequent performer as recitalist and in chamber ensembles. Professional performances with Albany, Catskill, Berkshire, Schenectady, Utica, Vermont Symphonies; St.Cecilia Chamber Orchestra. Extensive freelance performances including numerous national touring companies. Member of Westchester Broadway Theatre Orchestra. National tours with Annie and 42nd St. Recordings with Empire Jazz Orchestra, Albany Symphony, Dogs of Desire. Recipient of the SUNY Schenectady Foundation Award for Excellence in Teaching, the SUNY Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Teaching (2003), and the SUNY Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Scholarship and Creative Activities (2013).
