Neil Godbole graduated from SUNY SCCC in 2004 with his degree in Aviation Science – Pilot Option. He’s now landed what he describes as his “dream job” flying for FedEx.
A native of Clifton Park (and graduate of Shenendehowa High School), Neil’s now living in Tampa, Fla., but he took time out of his busy schedule to come back to the Capital Region and meet with current students in the College’s Aviation Science program. He let them know the value of a SUNY SCCC Aviation Science degree.
“The fundamentals that I learned here were great,” Neil said. “I built a good base and it made is easier to transition to other aircraft with that solid foundation.”
After graduating from SUNY SCCC, Neil pursued his bachelor’s degree in Aviation Science Professional Pilot at SUNY Farmingdale, graduating in 2006. After working as a Flight Instructor, he flew for Bankair Charter, Republic Airways and Allegiant Air. He’s now a First Officer/Pilot with FedEx. He's shown below with current Aviation Science students Shaun Norman, Matthew Molnar, Tyler Simpson, Kenneth LumHoo and Perry Legg.
In addition to the A.S. degree program in Aviation Science (with Pilot and Non-Pilot Options), SUNY SCCC’s Division of Math, Science, Technology and Health also offers an A.A.S. degree program in Air Traffic Control.
