Bacon Wrapped Dates

Makes 24 pieces

Ingredients

1/2 Pound(about 12)  Medjool dates cut in half lengthwise and remove pit
1/2 Pound high quality center cut bacon cut in half

Method
Tightly wrap each piece of date with a piece of bacon.  Bake in 350 degree oven until bacon is semi-crisp.  Remove and serve

Variations:

  • Stuff date with Cabreles Spanish Blue cheese before wrapping with bacon.
  • Stuff date with Marcona Spanish Almonds before wrapping with bacon
