Tania has been teaching at SUNY Schenectady since January 2009. She was appointed Dean in Summer 2018. She enjoys teaching materials science, nanoscale materials, vacuum science, thin film deposition, semiconductor manufacturing and chemistry. She has recently published a book, "A Career-Focused Introduction to Nanoscale Materials Technology," which is used in NMT 150 and NMT 152 on campus. Tania resides in Burnt Hills with her husband Miguel and two daughters, Sofia and Magdalena.
